Visit Lorient in Brittany to see the Celtic festival from 1st to 10th August. 2014 is a major year for Ireland, but there are bands represented by Spain, Wales, Scotland, France and others, If you like bagpipes and chanters then its a must. Lots of sideshows and stalls to purchase anything from a jews harp to jewellery as well as bags to bagpipes. Lots of free music, in and around Lorient - our favourite is Micamac - often seen in Concarnau on a weekend. We love it!
